Well it has been said, many a time that I look like Eric Cantona (for those of you that do not know who he is just click HERE ). The "stick" was getting so bad, and the amount of times that I was really getting mistaken for him were becoming more and more frequent, that I decided to go and sign up to the lookalike agencies here in England. I have got to admit I like the attention I get when I walk into a pub, or around a town centre and look at all of the double takes, and whispering comments... even been tempted to ask for things in shops in a French accent, and the amount of times I have been asked for my autograph !!

Basically I got snapped up by the agencies, which wasn't so surprising when you look at the other Eric lookalikes that I'd seen doing various bits on TV and magazines, and whisked off for a photo shoot for my portfolio. I had to dress up like Eric (that meant wearing an "alien" football strip) and pose for loads of tarty photos, had to pull a "sophisticated serious" face, cos Eric never smiles. Look like something out of the Freemans catalogue !

Anyway, what happened ??.... Let me explain... the moment that I signed on the dotted line at the agencies, Eric decides to start playing crap, missing open goals, skying penalties, then what happens ?? Well after all the hassle I went through..buying the kit and all that... he decides to "retire" from football ... and piss off to live in bloody Spain. So I don't get any bloody work !!!

But... there is light at the end of this tunnel... he has retired from football to become an actor... he's got a part in a Hollywood film about Queen Elizebeth the 1st or something... playing the French ambassador. Let's hope he's a good one... and becomes a Hollywood star... cos it's better to be a lookalike to a Hollywood Film star than it is to a retired footballer.

I am not a Manchester United Fan (as you should already know), nor am I a major fan of Eric Cantona and I certainly am not a raving poof (queer, faggot or whatever you want to call it), but I have got to admit that Eric Cantona ain't a bad looking bloke (could that be anything to do with the fact that I look like him ?? heheheh)
